Jessi Williams

Manager of Bruster’s Ice Cream, Birmingham, AL

My family:  Just me and my Rock Star husband, Kipp Williams, lead of April Cover.

My passion:  Travel.  I can’t get enough! I love to get to know a new place and the people that call that place home.

My favorite possession:  My Macbook.

My hometown:  I have called Nashville, Atlanta and Birmingham all home for about the same amount of time, and they all have influenced who I am.

Words I live by: Excellence is never an accident!

I am most proud of:  Working with my husband to do something outside the box in growing his band.

What keeps me awake at night:  Thinking of ways to make home, work and life more organized and efficient.

I am guilty of:  Waiting way too long to take out my trash.

Right now I’m reading:  “How Did You Do It, Truett?” The Truett Cathy Story

Favorite web site: I am most often on myspace.com/aprilcover to check April Cover’s show schedule.

Last major purchase:  An Ipod - yep I just got one.

My theme song:  My husband would say “Miss Independent” by Kelly Clarkson

If I had a vanity plate on my car, it would say:  GoGrn

If I could do it all over again:  I have to say I really have no regrets.  I try to make each year a bigger adventure.

If I were a superheroine (or fictional heroine), I would be: Veronica Mars.

The best thing I ever won:  A Barbie Dream House.

My best friend says I am: Steady.

I still can’t get the hang of: Satellite TV.  I get lost in all those channels.

What are you most vain about? My weight.  If I look thin in a picture, it is a good picture!

Whose diary would you most like to read? Maybe President Bush.  Really, what is he thinking?

Exclusive web content:

I’m thinking about:  April Cover’s shows this weekend.

I can’t live without: An Adventure.

If I could be totally wild, I would:  Quit my job and do nothing but travel, and hopefully pick up Spanish along the way.

The one item that has changed my life:  my passport along with my parents that sent me on my first trip.

The nickname I wish I had:  Any nickname.  None have really stuck with me.

My favorite body part:  eyes.  The eyes tell everything.

The food I could eat every day:  Pizza

The most important thing I ever lost:  tickets to a concert

I wish I’d known: That Student Loans add up quickly.

The world would be a better place, if only:  America would be a better if every last person had good and affordable health care.

I’d like to learn to:  Speak Spanish.  I have tried.  So far no luck.

Something most people don’t know about me:  I am so transparent I think most people who know me know everything about me.

My mother always said:  Just do your best.  You can worry about the rest.  Great advice for a type A like me.

The worst idea I’ve ever had:  Missing out on an opportunity to go to Machu Picchu with my husband.

The smartest woman I know:  My mom.  She is so sharp.

My first job:  Chick-fil-a.  I was fifteen and saving up for my first car.

Always... Try to look at things in a positive light.

Never...  Miss a good opportunity.
