“…I can be. I have the right of choice to be a business owner, wife and mother without gender assignment or social expectations. My options are immeasurable. I strongly believe that social, political and religious equality is crucial to both genders. Anything less is unacceptable.”

Mara owns Beebe Consulting & Research, is a freelance writer, and recently completed a Masters Degree in Feminist Studies. When she’s not working, she likes to garden, read, travel and sit on her porch. Her family consists of her husband, three kids, one cat, two guinea pigs and two millipedes.
