Biography

Anna Alford Nelson came to Birmingham from New Orleans to become a wife to Bill and step-mother to Madelyn. Being the General Manager of skirt! magazine is fabulous lagniappe. When she’s not skirt!-ing around town working with YP Birmingham and Children's Dance Foundation, she can be found splattering paint on canvases, watching Grey's Anatomy with Bill, digging holes with Madelyn, watching Murder She Wrote reruns or finding additions for her massive collection of clothes, shoes and purses. Anna lives with her husband, Bill, Madelyn, and 3 kitties, Cowboy Pepper, Princess Fiona, and Sugar in Vestavia Hills.
