Never Judge a Book by Its Cover Is So Passe

My love of the moment comes in the form of a 601 paged paper-back monster known as the 2002 Centennial Edition of John Steinbeck’s “East of Eden.” And while content ultimately rules, I can’t help but be drawn to the gorgeous antiqued detailing on the cover and the uneven parchment pages. It makes a gal like myself, who is always drawn into the visual aesthetics of life, happy to tote around a book so big every single day.

Orange Dulce by Mighty Leaf

Her series, The Southern Sisters Mysteries are based in my new city. not only did i start to recognize places mentioned, but i learned some exciting things about birmingham- not to mention working some calories off by laughing constantly...
